		<description>Hmm. I see your point, but what about parents who do value their children and support them to be active participants in conversations? I know some pretty awesome parents who don&#039;t talk down to their children.. maybe this is the family model that could work. So I get the metaphor, but I do agree with you and think family is the wrong analogy to use here. I support the partnership model over domination- can you think of a better analogy?
